Os proponemos algunas excursiones que se pueden realizar cercanas a Artesoro Baserria. En todas ellas nos desplazaremos en coche hasta el lugar y después realizaremos algunos recorridos de interés cultural y natural.
- CASTRO URDIALES.
Situado a 20 minutos en coche desde Artesoro Baserria. Se trata de un bonito pueblo marinero y turístico, con dos playas agradables, un casco viejo con buenos bares donde comer y un paseo junto al mar totalmente llano, de unos 4 km. de longitud, con unas magníficas vistas del entorno. Para vistas espectaculares os recomendamos subir a la ermita del Sagrado Corazón, tanto al amanecer como al atardecer.

We suggest some excursions that can be done near Aretsoro Baserria. In all of them we will travel by car to the place and then we will make some tours of cultural and natural interest.
1. CASTRO URDIALES.
Located 20 minutes drive from Artesoro Baserria. It is a nice fishing and tourist town, with two nice beaches, an old town with good bars to eat and a walk along the sea, totally flat, about 4 km. in length, with magnificent views of the surroundings. For spectacular views, we recommend going up to the hermitage of the Sagrado Corazón, both at sunrise and sunset.

2. PLAYA DE LA ARENA EN MUSKIZ PARA LOS AMANTES DEL SURF
Situada entre Muskiz y Zierbena a 10 minutos de nuestra casa rural Artesoroa Baserria, la playa de La Arena tiene 966 metros de longitud y es uno de los rincones preferidos de los surfistas de la Margen Izquierda del Gran Bilbao.
Es la última playa de Euskadi en su límite oeste. Tiene fundamentalmente tres olas principales: la izquierda de Pobeña, en la zona oeste de la playa, el Centro y la derecha del Vivero, en la zona este de la playa. Es en el Centro donde se imparten las clases de surf, ya que los otros dos picos merecen especial atención por las fuertes corrientes. Todas las olas funcionan en todas las mareas, aunque Pobeña rompe mejor con marea baja, siendo una izquierda larga de gran calidad que puede ofrecer sesiones épicas. La playa aguanta hasta los 2 metros y no necesita mucho mar, gracias a que es un arenal abierto.
Sus más de 2 km de longitud, han sido recuperados para el paseo a pie o en bici y acondicionados con un área recreativa con bancos y mesas, miradores y paneles explicativos.

2. PLAYA DE LA ARENA IN MUSKIZ FOR SURF LOVERS.
Located between Muskiz and Zierbena 10 minutes from Artesoroa Baserria, La Arena beach is 966 meters long and is one of the favorite spots for surfers on the Left Bank of Greater Bilbao.
It is the last beach in Euskadi on its western border. It mainly has three main waves: the left of Pobeña, in the western zone of the beach, the Center and the right of the Vivero, in the east zone of the beach. It is in the Center where surf lessons are taught, since the other two peaks deserve special attention because of the strong currents. All the waves work in all the tides, although Pobeña breaks better with low tide, being a long left of great quality that can offer epic sessions. The beach lasts up to 2 meters and does not need much sea, thanks to its open sand.
On the cliffs, next to the beach of La Arena, in Muskiz, we find this beautiful greenway that runs along the coastline from Pobeña to Cobaron following the old mining railroad track that from the nearby Cobaron mines went to the laundry and loading of Campomar ore, located in the open sea.
Its more than 2 km in length, have been recovered for the walk on foot or by bike and equipped with a recreational area with benches and tables, viewpoints and explanatory panels.
3. ISLARES, ORIÑÓN Y MONTE CANDINA
Los pequeños municipios de Islares y Oriñón acogen una hermosa ensenada que queda unida en bajamar por una gran playa. El baño es increíble y el entorno aún más.
Desde Sonabia, junto a la playa de Oriñón, parte un sendero litoral que nos conduce hacia la playa de Liendo y acaba en Laredo. Este sendero no tiene desperdicio. Las vistas y el entorno son inigualables. Si se quiere ir hasta Laredo la excursión es larga, pero podemos acortarla llegando hasta el Paso del Francés. En este tramo se concentran las mejores vistas del recorrido.

Mención a parte requiere el paraje Los Ojos del Diablo. Situado en lo alto de Monte Candina, es un lugar único. Dos grandes arcos modelados por la erosión en la roca caliza se abren como ventanas al mar. Estamos además, en la única colonia de cría de buitre leonado al borde del mar existente en Europa. Más no se puede pedir.

3. ISLARES, ORIÑÓN AND MONTE CANDINA
The small towns of Islares and Oriñón host a beautiful inlet that is joined at low tide by a large beach. The bathroom is amazing and the surroundings even more.
From Sonabia, next to the Oriñón beach, there is a coastal path that leads to Liendo beach and ends in Laredo. This path has no waste. The views and surroundings are unmatched. If you want to go to Laredo, the tour is long, but we can shorten it to the Paso del Francés. In this section the best views of the route are concentrated.

Mention to part requires the place Los Ojos del Diablo. Located on top of Mount Candina, it is a unique place. Two large arches modeled by erosion in the limestone rock open like windows to the sea. We are also the only breeding colony of griffon vultures at the edge of the sea in Europe. More can not be asked.
